Dana Aravich
MS, OTR/L, CPAM, CLVT
Dana Aravich is an occupational therapist who primarily works with individuals with neurological and low-vision conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She also has lived experience as an individual with a low-vision condition.
Aravich regularly presents on vision-related topics at local, national, and international presentations, at conferences, and as a guest lecturer. She cocreated an outpatient hybrid telehealth program for individuals with low vision, which won a quality improvement award. She has also coauthored two peer-reviewed journal articles on evaluating and treating oculomotor impairment following traumatic brain injury and a descriptive pilot study on a hybrid telehealth program.
Aravich received her bachelor of science in psychology and bachelor of arts in anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 and her master of science in occupational therapy from Boston University in 2014. She completed the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Low Vision Rehabilitation Graduate Certificate in 2021, and she became a certified low vision therapist (CLVT) from ACVREP in 2023.
