Allie Evancho
OTR/L, CYT
Allie is a board-certified occupational therapist, licensed in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. She earned her Masters degree in Occupational Science from Towson University. She has extensive experience serving, evaluating, and treating children and adolescents across a variety of settings, including home-based therapy, early intervention, residential treatment facilities, and outpatient clinics. She is a certified yoga teacher and incorporates mindfulness and yoga practices into her work. She is a current PhD candidate at Nova Southeastern University with a research focus in nature-based community programming for children with disabilities and their families. Allie uses a client-focused, strengths-based approach to unlock each child’s potential. When Allie is not working or studying, you can find her at the yoga studio or at Rock Creek Park hiking with her husband and dog, Hannah.
