Has your outpatient rehab organization experienced denied claims for remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM) this year? If so, heres an important update not to miss:

In the August 10 issue of the MLN Connects newsletter, CMS says that claims for RTM codes 98980 and 98981 from institutional outpatient organizations that were denied with reason code W7072 and submitted between January 1June 30 of this year may have been denied in error and should be resubmitted for payment.
